The QC Kiosk™ Ambulatory/Clinic Work-flow module streamlines individual patient check-in / check-out procedures. Our highly intuitive, user-friendly solution enables patients to perform a variety of tasks on their own, eliminating long lines at the clinic front desk and freeing up administrative staff to focus on higher-value tasks.

QC Kiosk Standard Software Modules

Vitals Capture

The QC Kiosk Vitals Capture module improves the efficiency of the patient triage process and enhances patient safety. Medical technicians capture patient vital statistics and medical histories electronically. Data are stored directly in the hospital or clinic information system, eliminating the need for error-prone data entry, and making the data instantly available to other clinic personnel. The QC Kiosk Vitals Capture device is specifically designed for basic triage. Any computer-enabled vitals capture device measurements can also be integrated.

A clinician uses this electronic vitals capture workflow screen to verify and enter data. Vitals capture data are sent directly to EMR or other relevant IT systems.

Features of the Vitals Capture module include the following:

  • Chief Complaint Capture

Billing and Copay

Now you can capture patient copays at the point-of-service with QC Kiosk. Our software integrates directly with your billing systems to access copay information and present the charge at the time of appointment check-in, pharmacy pick-up or lab service. Patients merely swipe their credit card for payment, sign the signature pad and they are on their way.

Way Finding

An important challenge faced by hospitals is how to help their visitors find their way around large and multi-site facilities. QC Kiosks incorporate a powerful solution for directory information and navigation in the hospital environment. This solution allows patients to easily locate doctors, clinics and other locations in the hospital. Overview and floor plan maps show patients these locations in relation to their current location. Kiosk integrated printers allow patients to print maps and directions to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience even in complex centers and environments.

Health Education

Our easy-to-use QC Kiosk Appliance enables patients to access information, stay healthy, and earn rewards. Vecna Medical's QC Kiosk solutions provide a wide range of interactive and automated services in a simple and user-friendly format. Appliances are simply configured with a list of acceptable URLs, a welcome page, and then deployed. Our standalone kiosk appliance will limit access to approved pages, restrict access to the underlying operating system, and timeout and return to the welcome page after a specified time interval. Our system will have you up and running in no time.

vSurvey Kiosk Module

vSurvey is Vecna Medical's web-based consumer feedback tool that enables users to easily create, distribute and manage online surveys. vSurvey is a collaborative platform that allows multiple users to jointly build and manage surveys. vSurvey supports a variety of question types including free text, multiple choice, and matrix formats. It comes with a robust reporting utility including charting/ graphing capabilities. Surveys can be customized to match any requirement, such as simple, branching or intelligent protocols. Surveys can be taken on a QC Kiosk or on any web-enabled device.

vSurvey features include:

  • Web based survey creation / reporting tool
  • Survey may be taken on kiosk as part of patient check-in, check-out, pre-registration
