Kiosk software is web service-enabled for “plug-and-play” connections to your health information systems. Your in-house IT staff can easily configure and connect to the software modules chosen in Step 1 for a fully integrated patient self-service workflow. Vecna Medical support is also available to connect compatible systems and ensure a smooth and successful integration. If your health information systems are not web service-enabled, don't worry. Vecna Medical's Intelligent Data Exchange Agent (IDEA) platform connects and extends even the most stubborn information systems.

The strength of QC Kiosk lies in Vecna Medical's IDEA platform, a proven data exchange solution, that enables QC Kiosk systems to read and write to any existing legacy, commercial, proprietary or homegrown system, whether very old or very new. QC Kiosk is able to exchange data with nearly any existing (legacy) commercial or homegrown health information system in real-time via web services. Vecna Medical's Intelligent Data Exchange Agent (IDEA 3.0) is an adapter tool that accepts data exchange requests from a web service-enabled application and swiftly retrieves and updates data in legacy systems with no web service capability. IDEA 3.0 supports X12, XML, HL7, and User Interface-level data exchange modes. Vecna Medical's IDEA 3.0 helps organizations streamline key business functions and extend services by providing secure, automated, bi-directional data exchange across multiple legacy systems.
